Lo stile “post atomico” è presente da tempo in Second Life con molte sim dedicate a differenti possibili scenari di tetri futuri che attendono l’umanità. Se amate un mix tra Blade Runner e The Day After, una delle sim più interessanti ci pare Sick, sim creata dalla graphic designer giapponese Mc Curtiz (che la descrisse qui: http://www.orange-island.com/?p=362), anche nota come S.I.C49 ed ora parte di un complesso di 4 isole. Oltre al gioco di ruolo potrà rivelarsi lo sfondo per foto interessanti, se riuscirete a sfuggire alle numerose guardie e cyborg che ne sorvegliano il territorio.
    
The "post nuclear" style has long been in Second Life with many sims dedicated to the various scenarios of possible dark future for the humanity. If you love a mix between Blade Runner and The Day After, one of the most interesting sim seems to us to be Sick, the sim created by the Japanese graphic designer Mc Curtiz (who described it here:http://www.orange-island.com/?p=362), even called S.I.C49 and now part of a complex of four islands. In addition to role play it may be the background for interesting photos, if you will miss the many guards and cyborgs who monitoring the area.

Decisamente le atmosfere di Sick (come quelle di Insilico) mi ricordano gli episodi del manga Ghost in the Shield (che a loro volta mi sembrano molto legati alla fotografia e ad alcune tematiche dei film della serie Matrix).
